Pay: $28 - $35 Per Hour

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of fleet repairs and preventative maintenances, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication.
  • Diagnose and repair systems such as ABS, braking, hydraulic, light engine, pneumatic, and other related systems.
  • Utilize diagnostic software to assist with troubleshooting and efficient repair processes.
  • Accurately document work time, service reports, and equipment status to ensure precise billing and record-keeping.
  • Operate a service truck to reach various customer locations, ensuring a professional presence and communication with customers.
  • Responsible for decision-making surrounding vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including managing warranty submissions and part storage for reimbursement.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience performing repairs on diesel systems and using diagnostic software for troubleshooting.
  • Strong mechanical skills with proficiency in advanced diagnostics, overhaul, and repair of all vehicle components and systems.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification highly valued.
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred; Class B CDL License with Air Brake Endorsement is an asset.
  • Strong verbal and documentation skills, with the ability to work well with others and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
  • Must own basic tools required for the job.
  • ASE qualification advantageous.

Shift Schedule

  • Type of employment - Full Time
  • Expected hours - 38-42
  • Days/hours the employee is expected to work: Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm; Rotating weekends depending on client needs

  • 40 hours per week
